Adversity Point Residential is a Residential Treatment Facility for boys ages 5-17 located in heart of Houston, Texas.  We specialize in treatment for traumatic experiences.  We use a proprietary product developed by our team of Counselors, Nurses, and School personnel to assist staff with a consistent approach to caring for our residents.  An iTIPP, which is the acronym for Individualized Trauma Informed Placement Plan, is a plan of treatment for each resident, that is based on considerations of their medical history, traumatic experiences, responses to ACES,  and the school-based IEP.  Each resident will have an iTIPP, that will show best practices, and accommodations that will be used throughout the resident's tenure in our therapeutic milieu.
